Hola, I’m MariaSol Bonilla — the heart behind Luz Del Sol.
I’m a certified birth and postpartum doula serving the Treasure Coast and surrounding areas. I was born in Argentina and raised with a deep appreciation for culture, family, and community care. For over 5 years, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside families during one of life’s most sacred transitions: welcoming a new baby.
My love for traveling and learning about different cultures has shaped the way I show up in this work. Each journey teaches me more about the beauty of diversity in birth, parenting, and traditions. These experiences help me better support the unique needs of every family I serve — always with cultural respect, warmth, and understanding.
Whether I’m providing labor support, postpartum care, or childbirth education, my mission is to offer calm, compassionate, and evidence-based care. I want every parent to feel empowered, informed, and deeply supported — just like the sun in my business name, Luz Del Sol.

About Luz Del Sol
The name “Luz Del Sol” is deeply meaningful to me. I wanted the name to be something that represents the light and faith I bring to every birth, as well as highlight and honor the Hispanic Community. Though I’ve been a doula for many years, it wasn’t until I shifted my focus to community-based work that I truly saw the gaps — especially in support for Spanish-speaking families. Resources like doulas, lactation consultants, and childbirth education classes etc. in Spanish are limited. This is the first step to greater access to resources and culturally rooted carefor a community that is often overlooked.
